England vs Portugal: every cloud has a silver lining
I actually watched the last 90 minutes of the England against Portgual soccer game last night. And like any other hot blooded English male, I was bitterly disappointed to see my team defeated in the penalty shoot out. Unlike many of my fellow countrymen though I don't blame the manager, Sven-Göran Eriksson, who I think has done much better than his recent predecessors. One final thought on the subject - at least out of the two teams it's the team with the cutest players which has got through to the quarter finals!

I looked at the game down at Piccadilly Circus. No sooner had the game finished did chairs, bottles, cans - you name it, come flying out onto the streets from On Anon. It was NOT a nice sight. I was very impressed with the response of the Met Police who had the entire area cornered off in minutes. Passion of the English?
OK, it's official! I'm too picky! I wouldn't sleep with either of these guys! :-( Well, maybe that's a good thing, right? I doubt it very much they'd want to sleep with me! GBD x

england is never gonna win as long as sven is the coach. he wasnt even running up and down the field giving instructions to players! he just sits there and watch. nice sven..
Rooney is Shrek. Seen the rolls of fat on that guy when he takes his shirt off? Where as Christiano ... ahh. Gorgeous pretty boy with great abs and thighs. Still I quite like robinson, gerrard (guilty secret), Sol (v.guilty secret), Lampard (even if he cant score)...

I guess there aren't too many Sven supporters around at the moment. Anyway it's a bit academic now because what's done is done, and Sven is not the England coach any more. I bet that Steve McClaren will get just as much flak though!

Yeah...I think you've actually posted pics of two of the least attractive soccer player I've ever seen.
I got so much crap on my blog for calling Rooney attractive! I'm glad you're in agreement that he is.
